The USS Ronald Reagan is Coming to Santa Barbara!

for anyone not on the approved attendee list.

The Santa Barbara Navy League is proud to host the USS Ronald Reagan during its upcoming Santa Barbara Homecoming from Friday, August 19th through Sunday, August 21st. We have many exciting events planned for the crew members, Navy League members and their guests. We hope you can join us as this weekend promises to be one you'll remember for years and years to come.

USS Ronald Reagan Homecoming Schedule of Events

Friday, August 19 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Welcome USS Ronald Reagan & Officers to their Homecoming to Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara Yacht Club - 130 Harbor Way, Santa Barbara
No-Host bar. Please wear Fiesta or Western Attire. This event will be held outside.

Friday, August 19 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
" California Fiesta" style BBQ Honoring the Officers of USS Ronald Reagan.
Santa Barbara Carriage Museum - 129 Castillo Street, Santa Barbara Park at La Playa Parking Lot across from Leadbetter Beach, free shuttle service to the event. Please wear Fiesta or Western Attire to this Event. Dance to great music by the Agin Brothers Band.

Saturday, August 20 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Enjoy a day watching exciting competition between the Santa Barbara Fire Department, US Coast Guard & USS Ronald Reagan sailors play ball! 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm And stay for the BBQ.
Softball at Pershing Park - Field #1 and #2 (next to the Carriage Museum) -100 Castillo Street, Santa Barbara Dance to great music by the Agin Brothers Band BBQ to follow.

Saturday, August 20 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Ferry out to USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76 for a "Taste of Santa Barbara "
Includes local wines, gourmet food, and a chance to meet an incredible crew, dance to live music provided by the 12-piece band, "Soul City Survivors" - a special local favorite. Parking will be available at La Playa Parking Lot. Black tie optional. FLAT CLOSED TOE SHOES ONLY WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE SHIP

Sunday, August 21 8:00 am - 2:00 pm
THE REAGAN First Annual Golf Classic
In Honor of the Officers and Crew of USS Ronald Reagan Hosted by Colleen and Michael Reagan and the Navy League of the United States, Santa Barbara Council. 8:45 a.m. Tee-off. Awards ceremony at "A Taste of Freedom" on USSRR. Sandpiper Golf Course.

Sunday, August 21 5:30 - 9:00 pm
Wrap up the weekend with a "A Taste of Freedom" and a Live Concert featuring the Navy Jazz Band, aboard the USS Ronald Reagan.
Parking available at La Playa Parking Lot with shuttle service.

Onboard USSRR: Attendees must wear flat, closed-toe shoes. For ladies, pantsuits are encouraged. Persons not wearing appropriate footwear may be refused admission; and there will be no refunds granted on the basis of exclusion.
